Fielden Ruble was the son of Jesse Ruble and Sarah Barnett, not Pugh. The document that has Pugh for Sarah's maiden name is wrong. There are documents that confirm this, but the most important is a legal document. In it one finds the maiden name of Sarah, her husband's name, her father's name, and her siblings' names. http://www.lva.virginia.gov/chancery/case_detail.asp?CFN=015-1802-022 . See also, Chronicles of the Scotch-Irish Settlement of Virginia Vol. 2 pp. 52-59, and The Doster Genealogy Pt. 2 Ch 6 which describes an indenture. Sarah's father's name was Lewis Bernard Sarron aka Lewis Barnett. Her siblings were Lewis Barnett, Jr. m. Mary Iles; and Margaret Barnett m. William Doster.
