Robert R.B. Rucker was born in Guyan Township, Ohio on June 2, 1915[1]. He was the son of Thurman Rucker and Elizabeth Brumfield.
At the time of the 1920 U.S. Census, Sloan, Mary E, Perry, John, Sanford, and Imogen Brumfield were listed as living in Guyan Township, Ohio, along with Sloan and Mary's grandson Robert Rucker and their daughter Elizabeth Harrison (mistranscribed as "Harris")[2].
At the time of the 1930 U.S. Census, Gideon, Virgie, Virginia, Lucille, and Rose Marie Brumfield (mistranscribed as "Brimfield") were listed as living in Rome, Ohio, along with Gideon's nephew Robert Rucker[3].
