Mary (Rue) Davison was born in New South Wales, Australia
Mary Ann Rue was born on the 20th June, 1841 in Sydney, New South Wales. She was then baptised on the 21st February, 1844 at the Church of England, Kelso, via Bathurst, New South Wales[1].
Interestingly, Mary Ann's sister Eliza Rue married Jonathan Davison's brother, Daniel Davison in 1860.
Marriage
Mary Ann Rue married Jonathan Davison on the 9th October, 1862 in the Holy Spirit C of E, Kelso, via Bathurst, New South Wales.
Children
Mary Ann and Jonathon are conjectured to have had eight children (5 sons, 3 daughters) all of whom were registered in the Bathurst district for BDM (except the last, Alice, who was registered in East Macquarie district, perhaps an artefact of a Register change).
Andrew Jonathon b. 1863[2] d. 13 July 1943 in Bathurst[3], buried in Presbyterian section of Bathurst Cemetery[4].
Jessie Florence b. 1866[5] m. James J. Tobin in Bathurst district in 1898[6] d. 29 Jun 1946 in Bathurst[7] buried in Kelso C of E Cemetery[8].

Mary Annie? b. 1873[15] m. Charles E. Tobin in Bathurst district in 1903[16] d. 13 Oct 1962 in Bathurst[17] buried in Kelso C of E cemetery[18].
Joseph T b. 5 Apr 1877 in Glanmire[19] m. Sarah Eva Thorn 1900 in Bathurst district[20] d. 5 Dec 1942 in Petersham[21], buried in Rookwood General Cemetery[22]

Alice Maud b. 1882[25] m. Benjamin F. Tobin in Bathurst district 1900[26] d. 1968 in Kogarah[27]
At the time of her death in 1915, all her daughters are stated in her funeral notice[28] to be living with their respective husbands (all surnamed Tobin), in Limekilns.
Death
Mary Ann Davison (nee Rue) passed away on the 23rd April, 1915 presumably in Limekilns after a long illness[28][29]. The BDM Death's registration lists the given name of her father as James, and that of her mother as Jane.
She was interred in the Kelso Church of England Cemetery[30], it is conjectured that the funeral service was held in the Kelso Church of England[28]
Research Notes
The place where Mary Ann died is conjectured to be "the Limekilns" (GPS -33.2723, 149.7259, 16 miles NE from Bathurst, in the Parish of Jesse, see NSW Dept. of Lands Map of the County of Roxburgh, published 1907) where she and Jonathon had resided for 15 years prior to his death in 1906[31]. It is conjectured that she remained there until her own death nine years later.
Her death was registered in the Sunny Corner district of the NSW Registry of Births Deaths & Marriages. Sunny Corner is in the north-east County of Roxburgh, Limekilns is in the middle of the same County, a considerable distance outside the boundaries of the County of Bathurst.
An Assistant Registrar of BDM was located in Sunny Corner in 1903 and it is conjectured that he (and/or his successors) registered Mary Ann's death.
More details of James and Mary Ann's association with the Limekilns' community may be found in a book published privately in 2017 on the local history of the Limekilns[32]. It provides details of the Tobin family, three of the men of whom married the three Davison daughters.
Interestingly the register of her death gives her mother's given name as Jane. This may be an error and may refer to her grandmother conjectured to be Jane MAY. Records of both her own baptism[1] and that of her younger siblings, George (b. 28 Mar 1845, bapt. 10 Mar 1846[33]) and Emily (b. 12 Dec 1848, bapt. 12 Jul 1849[34]) give her mother's name as Mary Ann Rue (d. 1885) and her father as James Rue (d. 1881).

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
I have added you as a manager. Happy researching. Limekilns is not far from Kelso via Bathurst, New South Wales.
Mary's funeral was held almost certainly in the Church of England at Kelso, as the family lived in Limekilns, a few miles up the road from Kelso.
However, NSW BDM has her death registered at Sunny Corner, New South Wales which is near Dubbo. She was probably visiting Davison relatives in Sunny Corner at the time of her death, and had her funeral at Kelso, just out of Bathurst New South Wales.
DAVISON MARY A Registration No. 6517/1915 Father: JAMES Mother: JANE District: SUNNY CORNER
So what the Trove article tells us is that her funeral was written up in the "Bathurst National Advocate" on April 26 1915. It doesn't name the church at Kelso, (unfortunately) but the Davisons and Rues are buried there.
If she had died at Limekilns her death would have been registered at Bathurst since Bathurst is the main centre of the area.
So, you need to say that her death was registered in Sunny Corner, via Dubbo, and her funeral was held near her home village of Limekilns at the Church of England, Kelso via Bathurst, New South Wales.
