Johann Andreas Rueb Jr. was born 20 December, 1834. in Hoffnungstal, Cherson, South Russia. He was the son or Johann Andreas Rueb and Katharina Hageloch.

In 1858, Andreas, 24, was living with his step mother, Elisabetha, 37 in Hoffnungstal. In household #84 were also his brothers Johannes, 16, Jackob 9 , Gottlieb 7, Wilhelm 4, and Friedrich 2, along with his sisters, Katharina 21, Dorothea 13 and Karolina 11.[1]

He married Louise Klotz (1839-1881) ca. 1859, in Hoffnungstal, Odessa, South Russia. They had 8 known children.

He married Eva Kienzle ca 1882.

He died March 25, 1891 in Hoffnungstal, Kherson, South Russia.
