Biography

Leeson was born in 1906, the son of William Ruger and Emma Knight. His first marriage was to Mamie (Templeton) Hawkins, a widow, in 1928. The marriage was brief: Mamie remarried in August 1930, and Leeson married Rose Maksimowski in New York in 1931. Leeson and Rose divorced in 1936.

Leeson married Grace Rutherford in 1937. He passed away in January 1972.
