Timothy Ruggles, the son of Joseph Ruggles and his first wife Rachel Tolles, was baptized April 30, 1738, at the Congregational Church of New Milford, Connecticut.[1]
Wife Sybil died in Brookfield, Connecticut, on January 3, 1789, in the 46th year of her age.[4]
Timothy Ruggles died about 1827, aged 88, per an article in the January 8, 1827, issue of The Connecticut Observer.[5] He probably died in Brookfield, which was established from parts of New Milford and other towns in 1788, and is where his wife's death was recorded.
