Biography

Daniel was born in 1783. He was the son of Ludwig Runkle and Barbara Dubs. Marriage date from Ohio, U.S., County Marriage Records, 1774-1993

1820 census shows five daughters under 16. 1830 census shows four boys and six girls, as well as one female aged 20-30. Polly must have passed by then?

Daniel passed away in 1840.

Research notes

A Daniel Runkle who had sons John (who married a Miss Kelsey) and Daniel (who married a Rosa Alspach with children Wilbur, Mary, Barbara, and Simon) was listed as a son of Lewis Runkle who lived in VA who had six children (Daniel, George, John, and three daughters).[1] Lewis was listed as the son of Peter Runkle of the Virginia Runkles.[2] Is Daniel a descendant of Peter Runkle (bef.1731-)?
