Biography
Lillie M. Runnels was born March 7, 1886 in San Marcos, Texas to Hardin Etigheson Runnels and Emma Sophie Marie Braeutigam) Runnels.
She married Samuel Doss Butler on Oct. 20, 1910 in San Marcos, Texas.[1]
Together they were the parents of Margaret Elizabeth Butler and Maurice Edward "Buddy" Butler.
Lillie died of accidental bichloride poisoning on Oct. 6, 1918 in Bishop, Texas[2] and was buried at San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos,Texas.
