Biography
John is the son of Adam and Margaret (Goetz) Rupert. He is the brother of Elizabeth (Rupert) Loutzenheiser, wife of Henry Loutzenheiser. He arrived in Nimishillen Township, Stark County, Ohio with his brother-in-law in 1807 and, together, they cleared the land and built cabins.
John married Sarah Bair, daughter of Rudy Bair, on 11 Dec 1806 at Columbiana County, Ohio.[1] Among their children are:
