Biography

Margaretha Rupp was born in November 1865 in the Alsace-Lorraine (Lotharingen) region of France/Germany. She immigrated to America in the early 1880s arriving in New York Harbor.

Margaretha married Louis Kratzke on November 11, 1883 in Brooklyn, New York when she was 18 years old. They had six children together. Louis died in Brooklyn on 7 April 1901.

Margaret married Albert Walter some time between 1901 and 1904. She had one son and one daughter with Albert.

In 1910 Margaret was living with her second husband and children from her first marriage. According to the 1910 census seven of Margaret's eight children were living...was Lottie dead?

Margaret died between 1925 and 1930 in Brooklyn.
