Rachel Rush was born 25 Sep 1843 in Ohio. She was the daughter of David Rush (1813–1869) and Nancy (Allen) Rush (1825–1901). [1]

Marriage

Married Elisha Daniel Johnson 25 Feb. 1864 in Hocking, Ohio.

Children

Rachel and Elisha had three children-only 2 survived;

  1. Mary Alice Johnson (Moorehead)
  2. Nancy Adora Johnson (Nixon)

Death

Rachel died 2 Nov 1927 in Mount Perry, Perry County, Ohio (aged 84) from TB. She is buried Gore Cemetery with her husband Elisha. [2]
