Biography

Ann RUSH migrated to Australia on the 'Vanguard' with her parents, Thomas RUSH aged 28 and Bridget RUSH (nee BOWEN) aged 25, leaving Liverpool on 11 March 1862 and arriving in Melbourne, Victoria, on 21 June 1862 [Victorian PRO Inward Passenger Lists - British Ports No 203].

According to the Victorian Pioneer Index 1836-1888, there is a death recorded for Charles Edward RUSH, son of Annie RUSH (father unknown), aged 10 months, at Fitzroy, Victoria, in 1877 (Vic Reg BDM reg no 3127/1877). Annie RUSH married Michael DOYLE on 19 Nov 1976.

Annie DOYLE (nee RUSH) remarried in 1900 after the death of her first husband, Michael DOYLE. Michael DOYLE died in 1896 and William MURPHY's first wife, Sarah MURPHY (nee HARRISON) died in 1884.
