Australian Town and Country Newspaper 3-7-1875. Page 11. Mudgee Police Court. Archibald & Emily McCallum charged with sheep stealing the property of William Blackman. (See Archibald McCallum's profile for details )


Wellington Times Newspaper 26-10-1931. Page 2. The death of Mrs Emily McCallum took place at her sons residence last Thursday night age 83.She was the wife of Archibald McCallum who predeceased her many years ago. Her death was due to senile decay. She had lived at Mudgee for many years but for the last 3 years lived with her son. She leaves the following children - Archibald- Henry - Ernest all of Mudgee & Mordant of Wellington Mrs glass of Ulan- Mrs McDonald of Yamble - mrs Spence of Penrith. Buried Wellington Cemetery[1]

Nepean Times 14-11-1931 Mrs Emily McCallum, widow of the late Archibald McCallum of Mudgee died at her son's residence Wellington on 22 nd ultimo. Aged 83. She was a native of Mudgee and a member of the Rushby family who were pioneers of that district. Surviving family are Archie (Queensland), Ern and Harry (Mudgee), Mordant (Wellington), Mrs Glass (Gulgong), Mrs Spence - Mrs McDonald (Mudgee) One sister Mrs Mostyn age 79 of Wellington and one brother Henry Rushby age 77 of Mudgee, survive.[2]
