Biography
Stanley RUSHFORD was born in 1912 in Rutherglen, Scotland. He was the son of John Rushford and Florence Whalley. He came to Australia sometime...
He married Ellen Isabel MOULDER in 1935, when aged 23 years. They had 5 children, the first being a daughter Nola in October 1939:
"RUSHFORD (nee Isabel Moulder). — To Mr. and Mrs. S. Rushford, Dermot-street, Preston — a daughter (Nola)." Source: The Age, 28th Oct 1939, p 17. [1]
John, Bronwyn, David and Susan, and Stanley followed. Husband Stanley died when Isabel was 48 years old, leaving her to care for a nearly adult family.
He worked as an engineer (where?), and passed away on 13th May 1963 in Heidelberg Victoria, aged 50 years.
