Biography

Matilda was Christened on April 10, 1853. [1] Her parents were George Rushford and Mary Monaghan.

She was working as a domestic servant but not living with the family for the 1871 census. For the 1881 census, she was married to Andrew Lowe and living at Gardiners Place, Blantyre, Lanarkshire.
