Biography

Ellen Rushin was born about 1834 and baptised on the 5th October 1834 at Ramsbury, Wiltshire, England, the daughter of Thomas Rushin (labourer) and Hannah Rushin of Ramsbury, Wiltshire^[1].

Ellen Rushen married Thomas Arthur Towerzey Phillpott on the 3rd August 1862 at Christ Church, St. Marylebone, Middlesex, England. Thomas Arthur Towerzey Phillpott, bachelor, coach painter of Grove Street and Ellen Rushen, spinster of Grove street, daughter of Thomas Rushen^[2]

Ellen's husband Thomas died in 1909^[3][4], and Ellen remained living at 254 Kilburn Lane, Paddington until at least 1918^[5]

Ellen died in 1919 in Paddington, London, England^[6]
