Biography

William Russ was born in about 1708, the son of Thomas Russ and Anne Farnum. This birth year is based on his stated age of 67 at the time of his 1777 death, per the death record below, combined with the fact of his father's death in Nov. 1707, meaning that William had to have been born by or before Aug. 1708.

On 15 Nov. 1744, William first married Mary Watts, in Andover.^[1] William and Mary had six children.

Mary passed away in about 1755. Then William married second to Abigail Davis, in Methuen.^[2]

William and Abigail had the following children recorded on the Methuen, MA records:^[3]
