Albert Alfred William Russell was born in 1901 in Pimlico, London, England to William James Russell and Sarah Rachel Elizabeth (Brownjohn) Russell. His birth was registered in St George Hanover Square, London in the third quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Brownjohn.[1]
In 1911 Albert A W Russell (age 9) lived at 12 Hamble St in Fulham, London with his father William J (35, Lift Fitter for Office of Works), mother Sarah R E (35), and three brothers: John S (8), George (5), and Edward (1), as well as cousin Mabel E Brownjohn (13).[2]

Albert A W Russell passed away in 1943, aged 42 years - his death was registered in Stepney, London in the last quarter of the year.[5]
