Jason Russell was born on January 25, 1717, in Cambridge, MIddlesex, Massachusetts. He was the son of Hubbard and Elizabeth (Dickson) Russell. Jason married Elizabeth Winship on January 28, 1740, in Cambridge. They had 9 children: Jason, Elizabeth, John, Hubbard, Thomas, Noah, Elizabeth, Mary, and Noah. Jason was " "barbarously murdered in his own House Gages' bloody Troops" " on April 19, 1775, in Arlington, MIddlesex, Massachusetts. He was shot twice and bayoneted eleven times. At the time of his death, Jason was an invalid, and a noncombatant. Elizabeth, his widow, died on August 11, 1786, in Arlington.
