Biography

Joseph was born in 1711 in Duxbury, Massachusetts to John Russell and Esther (Mayes) Russell.[1][2]

In 1740 Joseph married Abigail Wadsworth.[3][4][5] Joseph and Abigail had 4 children: Silvina Russell, (b.Dec. 21, 1745, d. Aug. 4, 1764), Abner Russell (b.May 28, 1744, m. Lusanna Phillips Dec. 24, 1764), Abigail (Russell) Waterman (b.June 13, 1749, m. Malacli Waterman March 30, 1772) and Saba Russell (b.Jan. 9, 1754).[6]

Joseph died in 1791 in Duxbury, Massachusetts.[7]

The Mayflower Descendant indicates that Joseph and wife Abigail had 4 children: Silvina Russell (5/28/1744), Abner Russell, Abigail (Russell) Waterman (6/13/1749), and Saba Russell (1/9/1754).[8]
