Corporal Jonathan Russell Jr. served with 7th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Jonathan Russell, son of Johathan Russell and Eunice Barker, was born 25 July 1731 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut Colony. [1]

Jonathan Russell Junior married Lydia Barker, both of Branford, [ ] October 1753, by Jonathan Russell, Justice of the Peace. (Found no older Jonathan in town records, so it is likely the J.P. was Jonathan's father.) [1]
