Mustering information: - Discharged from 6th Cavalry (Virginia) (Discharged when he reached age limit of 40 per postwar roster.) - Enlisted into 43rd Battn Cav (Virginia) - Enlisted into H Company, 6th Cavalry (Virginia) on Apr 24 1861 - Killed while serving in 43rd Battn Cav (Virginia) on Feb 1 1864 at Warrenton, VA (Reenlisted when age limit raised to 45. Served with Mosby per postwar roster.)
