Biography
Rural Cottage, where 7 of William Thomas Russell's children were born, WTR'S granddaughter writes: "The name Rural Cottage is no longer found on maps of Barbados, however it was located just south and to the west of an estate (plantation) called Fairview, in the Parish of St George. My thanks to Mark Layne who provided the map of St George showing Rural Cottage...map of Barbados printed and originated from surveys by Bartholemews of Scotland. It was originally printed in 1867 from a copper engraving which was donated to the Barbados Museum by Bartholemews."
