Funeral services for Mrs. Nina Russell Brown[stet], 84, of 1700 Crescent, will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. There will be a service at the Roland R. Speaks at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City. The rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Speaks Chapel. Mrs. Browne died Saturday night at the Independence Sanitarium.
She was a granddaughter of Dr. Johnston Lykins, a pioneer settler of Jackson and a former mayor of Kansas City. Mrs. Browne leaves a son, Robert L. Browne, 10112 W. 67th St., Merriam, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Theodora Price and Miss Helen T. Brown[stet], both of the home, and three grandchildren.
