Biography

Ernest was born in 1883.

Ernie Russell is Notable.

A player in both hockey and football, playing for Montreal Amateur Athletic Association.[1] He played on four Stanley Cup champions while with the Montreal Wanderers: 1906, 1907, 1908, and 1910.[1] In 1907, he played halfback with the Montreal AAA that year when they won the Dominion Rugby Championship of Canada.[1]

He passed away in 1963.[2]

Ernie Russell was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1965.[1]
