Lady Caroline married George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough, the son of Lieutenant-General Charles Spencer, 3rd Duke of Marlborough and the Hon. Elizabeth Trevor, on 23 Aug 1762 at Bedford House, Bloomsbury, London. They had 8 children.
The Duchess died on 26 Nov 1811 at age 68 at Chapel, Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England and was buried there on 2 December 1811.
