Biography

Harold was born 3 Jul 1922 in Sparland, Marshall, Illinois. He was the son of Harry Russell and Nellie Kimble.

In 1930 he was living in La Prairie, Marshall, Illinois.^[1] The household included Harry Russell age 36, wife Nellie Russell age 36, son Harold Russell age 7 and son Evert Russell age 3, all born in Illinois. Harry was a farmer.

In 1940 he was living in La Prairie Township, Marshall, Illinois.^[2] The household included Harry Russell age 46 born in Nebraska, wife Nellie Russel age 45 born in Illinois, son Harold Russell age 17 born in Illinois and son Everett Russell age 13 born in Illinois. Harry was a farmer. Charles A Kimble Jr lived next door.

He enlisted in the US Army Air Corps 31 Oct 1942 in Peoria, Illinois.^[3] He was released on 8 Feb 1946.^[4]

He died 28 Nov 1989 in Green Rock, Illinois.^[5][6][7]

He is buried in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois.^[8]
