Sidney Russell was a Virginian from Accomack County

Sidney was born in 1841. He was the son of Thomas Russell and Sarah Adams, He married Elizabeth E Barnes in 1869. He passed away in 1891. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}

Sidney was born circa 1846 at Accomack Co, VA.^[2]

Sidney was listed with his parents in the census of 1850 at St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Sidney R. Russel, age 4 in HH#1189 headed by Thos. Russel Sr., a 60 year old farmer with real estate valued at $1,000.^[2]

Sidney was listed with his parents in the census of 1860 at St. George Parish, Accomack Co, VA. HH#41 was headed by Thomas Russell of M., a 61 year old farmer. Listed with him were the following Russells: Sallie, age 54; Harriet A., age 19; Edw'd J., age 16; Sidney P., age 13; and Wm., age 10.^[3]

He married Elizabeth E. Barnes, daughter of John (of A.) Barnes and Sallie Johnson, on 2 September 1869 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Sidney P. Russell, a 23 year old Seaman, the son of Thomas & Sarah Russell and she was shown as Elizabeth E. Barnes, age 16, the daughter of John & Sally Barnes.^[4]

Sidney T. Russell died in 1891 at Accomack Co, VA.^[1]

Sidney was buried at Liberty Cemetery, Parksley, Accomack Co, VA.^[1]
