She was born to Herschel and Edna (Kellermeyer) Russell. On March 25, 1950, she married the Rev. Carl Leach, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Russell (Anna), Medina; a sister, Fae Stienecker, St. Marys; and two grandchildren.

Deceased are two sons, Brian and Bruce Leach and a sister, Lois Baumgardner.

She assisted in her husband's ministry in the Lutheran Church, having served at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Ypsilanti, Mich., and Trinity Lutheran Church, Bryan. She was a member Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys. She was a 1947 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and attended Defiance College.
