Biography

Serepta was born in 1838 [1]. She was the daughter of Joseph Rutherford (1796-aft.1850) and Millie Oma (Keesee) Rutherford (abt.1810-aft.1850).

She married William Jefferson May (1836-1927) in 1857 [2]. Their children: [3] [4] [5]

In 1910, Serepta and William lived with their daughter Dollie and her husband Thomas Trent [7] .

She passed away in 1924 [8]. Elder G.B. Bird conducted her funeral, using text of Romans 8:2, on Oct. 12, 1924 [9].
