Margaret was born about 1810. She passed away about 1860.

- Adam Clapperton, born Greenlaw 1829 and died Warton 11th October 1918 is my Great Grandfather. He was the son of Robert Clapperton and margaret Rutherford. Robert was the brother of William, who was married to Margaret Brodie, and emigrated to Australia in 1854. He also had a son, Adam. It appears to me that my Adam Clapperton put incorrect ages on some census returns, so confusing him with his cousin.
