When I propose merges, it is because the sources match.

It has been suggested to me that someone (or more than one) in the Routledge/Rutledge family took on the name Erwin/Irwin. For that reason there may be Erwin participants in the Clan Irwin DNA Study whose DNA matches Routledge not Irwin. Have you any knowledge of that. RHI

Edward, When rejecting a merge, you should provide the sources that you have to prove that the profiles are not the same person. When all of the dates and places are unsourced, it is difficult to use that as the reason for a rejected merge when other family members are the same. Let me know if I can help.

Hi Edward,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Also, check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!

Let me know! I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Welcome aboard!

Hi Edward. I happened to notice the DeWolfe merges. When you're merging profiles with different Last Names at Birth (i.e. with or without a space) be careful to choose the proper one first, and merge into the profile with the proper LNAB.

Hello Ed, I was a flight engineer, flying to Naples from Port Lyautey, Morocco, 1960-1962, I am sure that we used GCA a few times, but you had moved on by then. Thanks for the note.

Best regards, Marshall

Please change your privacy level to "Private with Public Family Tree" to allow your Y-DNA results to be associated with your direct paternal line.

Thanks and sincerely, Peter

You have my dad's full name and his fathers name on the Profile public view:

How are you related to HP and RA Nebegalls? Roy was married to Lena Rutledge, daughter of William Lewis Rutledge. He was the son of George Rutledge. Are you descended from one of Great Grandpa's brothers?
