Catherine Ryan was born on June 17, 1888 in Glebe, Colony of New South Wales, daughter of Laurence Ryan (~1858–1918) and Mary Davern (1851–1900).
Catherine (19) married Hiram John Howland (23) (born in 1884 in Glebe; son of John Howland and Ada Jane (Holme) Howland) in 1908 in Glebe. Their son was Hiram John Howland (1916–1990).[1]
Catherine (39) married Oswald Reginald Ryan (37) (born in 1890 in Bathurst, NSW, Australia) in 1928 in Balmain, New South Wales. [2]
Catherine died on May 28, 1976 in Glebe, New South Wales, Australia, aged 87.
