Chester A. Ryker, died Sunday in Methodist Hospital after an illness of seven weeks. Mr. Ryker operated the old Royal Garment Company, which manufactured dresses, with his brother, M. O. Ryker, before becoming a partner in the laundry. Mr. Ryker was born in Franklin, attended Hanover College and came to Indianapolis 45 years ago. He was a member of Pen-talpha Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and Tabernacle Presbyterian. ...
