Biography
Clifford was the son of Clifford Wayne Sackett and Mary Edna (Wright) Sackett. He was born on 10 Nov 1915 in Burholme Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Clifford was baprized on 13 Feb 1916 at Trinity Church Oxford, Philadelphia.
Clifford married Virginia Alice Chase in 1942.
Cifford's WWII draft registration card (16 Oct 1940) described him as white with a dark complexion, 5'11", 170lbs, brown hair and brown eyes. He was 24 years old at the time. Clifford served in the United States Army from 7 Dec 1941 to 12 Oct 1945. He was discharged for medical reasons.
