Biography

Sarah was born in 1 Jan 1816 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She married Milas Bond 20 Jan 1837 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.[1] Sarah and Milas then moved to Union County, Illinois where they had five children. Their fifth child, Margaret Elizabeth was born in 1848 and Milas died within a year afterward.

Sarah then married Solomon Miller 15 Mar 1849 in Union County, Illinois.[2] Sarah and Solomon were living in Union County, Illinois during the 1850 census with their combined families.[3]Sarah and Solomon were living with their combined families at Union County, Illinois during the 1860 census.[4] Sarah and Solomon were living with their children at Dongola, Illinois during the 1870 census.[5] Sarah and Solomon were living at Mill Creek, Illinois during the 1880 census with son Jacob and three other children.[6] Sarah Leah was living with her son Jacob and his family at Mill Creek, Illinois during the 1900 census.[7]

Sarah died 1 Apr 1904 and is buried at Saints Johns Cemetery, Dongola, Illinois.[8]
