Biography
James and sister Amanda appear on the Canadian Census for 1851 and 1861 living with Henry Myres and wife Abigail. Father Benjamin is married to Sarah Reynolds at this time. Hs actual birth year is somewhat uncertain, as it is listed anywhere from 1837-1840 in census records. However he was older than sister Amanda and his parents were married in 1838, so 1839 1840 would be the most logical.
