Biography
Private Solomon Sage served with 19th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.
Solomon Sage is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A099074.
Solomon passed away from consumption in 1805 and is buried at the Wilcox Cemetery in Berlin, MA [1]
Solomon was born in 1737. He was the son of David Sage (1703 - 1798) and Bathsheba Judd Sage (1707 - 1772).[2] He was the third of six siblings:
- David Sage (1732 - 1779)
- Rhoda Sage Porter (1734 - 1807)
- Solomon Sage (1737 - 1805)
- Jedediah Sage (1739 - 1826)
- Mindwell Sage Williams (1745 - 1818)
- Candice Sage Gilbert (1752 - 1805)
Solomon married Lois Wilcox Sage.[3] These are their known children:
- Grace Sage Treat (1757 - 1789)
- Solomon Sage (1759 - 1816)
- Calvin Sage (1765 - 1809)
- Oliver Sage (1769 - 1859)
- Joseph Sage (1772 - 1844)
- Isaac Sage (1775 - 1846)
Solomon served in the Revolutionary War:

- Colonel Thomas Belding's Regiment, 1777. [4]

Solomon passed away from consumption in 1805 and is buried at the Wilcox Cemetery in Berlin, MA [6]
