DWS: Genealogical record of the descendants of David Sage; Batavia, N.Y.: C.H. Sage, 1919 by Elisha L. Sage pg 114 "NOTE L. 1378 Henry W. Sage was a prominent and highly esteemed citizen of Brooklyn, N. Y. He was extensively engaged in the lumber business, having large establishments for manufacturing the same located in several different States, and is noted for the interest he took in the benevolent and educational enterprises of the day, contributing largely to their support."

Henry and profile manager are 17th cousins five times removed through William (Gascoigne) de Gascoigne VII.
