Biography

Absolom Sager was born about 1789 in Perry, Hardy, Virginia, son of John Sager (~1750–1833) and Mary Barb (~1761–<1826).^[1]

Absolom married Magdaline Richman (born about 1798). Their son was Michael Sager (~1829– ).

In 1830, Absolom was living in Hardy, Virginia. ^[2]

In 1840, Absolom was living in Hardy, Virginia. ^[3]

Absolom died on January 25, 1848 in Hardy, Bedford, United States, aged about 58.^{[4] [1]}

• this is where we see a spelling change from Sager to Zeger. to assist others in finding Absalom i have attmpted to include both forms of the spelling in his name.
