Biography

Joy Bell Saine and her twin brother Troy Dell were born on February 25, 1914, [1] in Wise, Texas. She was the daughter of [[Saine-39|John Lear Saine and Sarah Lillian (Thornton) Saine. They were the 4th and 5th children of 5 children. She and her twin Brother were 6 years old living with their parents and siblings in Ellis, Co., Texas in 1920. [2] Her mother died April 1922, when they were 8 years old. In 1930, at age 16, they lived with their Sister, Lillie and her husband, Fred M Thompson in Navarro, county Texas. [3]

Joy Bell Saine married Mr. MARIRN in Texas in October 1942 when she was 28 years old. They divorced in about October 1957 in Texas after 15 years of marriage. She took her maiden name back. [4] In 1961 she was living on R 3601 Asbury UP, Dallas, Texas where she was a Office Secretary.[5]and 1962 she was living in Rual, Lancaster, Texas where she was a Sales woman for Titche’s.[6]

She died on August 31, 2004, in Lindale, Texas, when she was 90 years old. She was buried in Elm Branch Cemetery, Bardwell, Ellis, Texas. [1]
