Edward was born in about 1841. He was the son of John Sale and Esther Goulding.
At the age of 30 he married 22 year old Catherine Taylor on 15 February 1872 in London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada.[1]
They had four children.

He passed away in 1891 at the age of 50. Cause of death: Cancer[2]
