Salkeld-269 and Salkeld-207 do not represent the same person because: These two men were born in different parts of the UK, to different parents, and had different families and siblings. There has been extensive research into the family of Salkeld-269; the other man does not match.

Hi Tom — No, these are two totally different men... The error is that Salkeld-207 has been conflated with Salkeld-269 (the one who married Eliza Seegmiller and lived in Downie). Instead of merging them, Salkeld-207 should be detached from the profile of Eliza Seegmiller and from Annie Montieth’s — and Annie should be added as the daughter of Salkeld-269, as he was her father and is the one with the correct background. (Salkeld-269’s mother was not Jane, but Martha, and his brothers were neither Henry nor Benjamin, and he was not born in, nor was his father John from, Northumberland but instead, these Salkelds came from Cumbria...) I have a lot of info on the family of Salkeld-269; no idea who the other fellow and family were, but he was not the one farming near Stratford, Ontario.

Salkeld-269 and Salkeld-207 appear to represent the same person because: They sure look like they are the same individual! Do you agree?
