Biography

Lewis Salmon Jr was born in Appalachia, in Georgia.
Lewis was born in 1776 in Wilkes County,, Georgia. He was the son of Lewis Salmons and Sarah Margaret (Shannon) Salmons.[1] He married Mary Bobo in 1795 in South Carolina, USA

In the 1850 census Lewis (age about 74) was living in Elbert, Elbert, Georgia.[1]

Parent Marriage

Lewis Salmon married Sarah Margaret Shannon on 20 March 1770 in Pittsylvania, Virginia, United States. The couple had 4 children: Rebecca Elizabeth Salmons, John Salmons, Lewis Salmon and Benjamin Salmon.[2][3]
