Biography
Barksdale Salmon Born abt 1796 Halifax Co Va. Died June 1833 Halifax Co. Va. Married Barsheba Ann Ricketts Born abt 1803 Halifax Co. Va. Married on Aug 26, 1823 Halifax Co Va. Note: I believe Barksdale Salmon was the son of Henry Salmon, I have found him in a case with Henry Salmon Jr. and he is was with the other Salmon's in the record's at the Courthouse. Barksdale died before his father did in 1833. Barksdale had just almost a year before was a witness for the Grand Jury of Halifax County. I believe he died because of being this witness. He was very young, with a wife and 4 Children, his wife moved on with on her sibling's to Tn. and never re-married.[[1]]
