Biography

Norah Blanche Salmon (married names Sounness, then Kearsley) was born in 1883 in Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Alice Georgie Cunningham and John Fry Salmon.^[1]

She married Thomas Glen Sounness on 17 October 1906 in Claremont, Western Australia.^[2][3] Their children were:^[4]

• Glen Sounness (1907–1907)
• Gerald Geoffrey Sounness (1909–1984)
• Roger Sounness (1913–1988)
• Ian Thomas Sounness (1915–1989)

Thomas requested an annulment in 1922, on the grounds of desertion.^{[5] [6]}

Norah remarried in 1937, to widower Thomas Kearsley.^[7]

Thomas died in December 1949.^[8]

Norah died in 1968 in Plantagenet, Western Australia, aged 84 years.^[9]
