Biography

Agnes Salmon (married name Canning) was born around 1412 in London, Middlesex, England, the daughter of Eustatia (Lemarshall) Salmon and John Salmon.[citation needed]

She married Thomas Canninge in 1425.[citation needed] Their son was:[citation needed]

Agnes died in Foxcote, Warwickshire.[citation needed]

Quoted from an article in Table Talk (a Melbourne newspaper) in 1895:[1]

"Burke also says that "the Cannings derived their lands at Foxcote from Agnes, daughter and co-heiress of John Salmon, through marriage with Thomas Canning, of Bristol, about 1425." Thomas and Agnes were the ancestors of Earl Canning, and Viscount Stratford de Radcliffe."
