Augusta Ruby Salsbury was born on December 14, 1893 in Queensland, Australia, daughter of Robert James Salsbury (~1834–1897) and Isabella Smith (~1860–1924).[1]
Ruby married Donald Stephen Rankin (born in 1870 in Tumut, New South Wales, Australia; son of Angus Rankin and Catherine Jane (McDonald) Rankin). Their children were:
- John Rankin (~1916–1942)
- Catherine McDonald Rankin (1918–1996)
Ruby died in 1959, aged 65.[1]
