Maria Salter was born in Hedgerley Buckinghamshire England UK. She married James Harman and they had at least 15 children.
In the 1851 English Census her age is listed as 48 which would confirm the 1802 birthdate although if Ann is indeed her daughter born in 1816 Maria would have been 14 at her birth.
There appears to be several multiple births in Maria's research so there may very well be two parallel Maria Salters who married James Harmans. Not entirely impossible - and seems likely as Maria appears to have married in 1822, and the children from 1826 are those on the 1841 census.
The children I have found attributed to James & Maria Harman (nee Salter) are: Ann Haman 9 January 1816 b. Little Marlow Buckinghamshire England UK, Thomas b. 1819, George & Henry b. 1826, Eliza Harman (Mountley) b. 12 April 1826, Edward & Mary (Piner) b. 1828, James b. 4 January 1831, William & Richard b. 1833. Charles b. 1834, Lucy b. 1838, Fanny b. 1840, John b. 1843, Joseph b. 1846. This is all entirely possible.
I have no idea if Maria Anna Salter from Prussia is the same unless there is a record of her going to England. I have on shipping records Maria Salter as mother of Charles in England

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Maria by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Maria:
This person was either not born (when Ann was born) or was too young to be the mother of the rest of the children. This is raising suggestion reports, please investigate and make adjustments or disconnect, thanks
