Mrs. Patricia Barley Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Sammons Barley, 49, who died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1985, of injuries received in an automobile accident, were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 1985, at the Providence Baptist Church. The Rev. David Moree officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Cook and Spigener Mortuary directing. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth T. Barley of Gallion; one son, Kenneth T. Barley Jr., of Linden; two daughters, Mrs. Terry Miller of Gallion and Mrs. Valda Barrineau of Linden; her mother, Mrs. Louise Sammons of Linden; five brothers, Robert Sammons and Gene Sammons, both of Linden, Charles and Jimmy Sammons, both of Demopolis, and Billy Wayne Sammons of Thomasville; a sister, Mrs. Betty Ann Smyly of Linden; and five grandchildren; and other relatives. Pallbearers were J.D. Flowers, Roy Hereford, Jimmy Brame, Payton Smyly, Herbert Duke, Jr. and David Huggins. Honorary pallbearers were members of her Sunday School Class, the Emory Tucker Sunday School Class of Providence Baptist Church. From The Democrat Reporter.
